This privacy notice is issued by ORCHA Health Ltd and its affiliates (including ORCHA Health Inc.) (collectively, “ORCHA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). It explains how and why we collect, store, use, and/or share (process) your personal information when you use the APA Labs Digital Solutions Library and related services (the “Services”), including: 

  • Engaging with us in other related ways, including registration, account creation, sales, marketing, or events 

ORCHA operates the APA Labs Digital Solutions Library platform in partnership with APA Labs, a unit of American Psychological Association Services, Inc. (“APASI”). ORCHA is the Data Controller responsible for personal data processed through the Services. Developer submissions, including evidence and documentation, are provided directly to ORCHA, which manages the evaluation process. APASI provides programmatic direction for the APA Labs Digital Badge Program, including development and ownership of the criteria and review and sign-off on evaluations before badge assignment, but does not control the platform or routinely process personal data collected via the Services.

1. What information do we collect? 

Information Collected from You We collect information you voluntarily provide, such as when registering for the Services, expressing interest in the APA Labs Digital Badge Program or evaluated products, participating in activities on the Services, or contacting us. 

Personal information you provide may include: 

  • Name 

  • Mobile Number 

  • Email Address 

  • Username 

  • Password 

Information Automatically Collected We automatically collect certain information when you visit, navigate, or use the Services. This does not typically reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information (e.g., IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, and how you use the Services). This is primarily used for security, operation, internal analytics, and reporting. We also collect information via cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy)

2. How do we process your information? 

We process your personal information for purposes including: 

  • Facilitating account creation, authentication, and user account management 

  • Delivering the Services you request 

  • Requesting feedback on your experience 

  • Protecting the Services (including fraud monitoring and prevention)

  • Acting on an individual’s vital interests where necessary to prevent harm

  • Service providers (acting as data processors) for IT, system administration, website support, webchat, and customer relationship management

  • Affiliated ORCHA companies that help provide the Services

We require third parties to respect your data’s security and process it only for specified purposes under our instructions. 

In rare cases where data indicates a need to safeguard an individual or their family, we may contact relevant authorities using formal, auditable processes in line with legal guidelines.

5. Is your information transferred internationally? 

Where possible, we store data on servers in your country of residence. When not possible, data is transferred to servers in the UK. Transfers to third parties may occur outside your jurisdiction. We ensure adequate protection via approved mechanisms (e.g., adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses). 

6. How long do we keep your information? 

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes in this notice or as required/permitted by law. Registered relationship data is retained for the relationship duration plus two years for operational or legal needs. Thereafter, we anonymize data, destroying identifiable elements using industry best practices.

We implement measures including: 

  • Regular reviews to collect only necessary data 

  • Transparent consent mechanisms 

  • Encryption of data in transit 

  • Secure data warehousing with role-based access controls (limited to accredited staff) 

  • Retention limited to consented purposes 

Data is stored securely and accessible only to authorized administrative users.

You may access, correct, update, or delete your personal information (subject to legal obligations). Account holders can manage certain data via account settings. We may update this notice. Material changes will be posted on our websites or communicated directly (e.g., via email). We encourage regular review. If changes significantly affect consented processing, we will seek renewed consent where required.
